so im pulling the engine on my 98 polaris xcr 700 its goin pretty good not as bad as i thought i was wondering sumthings i should do and check while everything was apart i was gonna clean the snot out of everything and replace the things that don't look so if u have any good ideas let me know thanx

Yes, check all the steering linkages.. The rod ends and bushings get pretty neglected.

grease the steering post. there is a zerk in there that is impossible to reach when the motor is installed.
