Power valve springs
I heard of a performance up grade for the Liberty 600s and that was to install the power valve springs from a 440 in it
Anyone tried this????
any difference as far as performance??
now the pink springs which are stock on the 600
at 1.0 inches the spring is at 4.7lbs totally open its at 7.1 lbs
and the free length of the spring is 1.734
now the red/white whick come on the 440
at 1.0 inches the spring is at 3.0lbs totally open its at 4.3 lbs
and the free length of 1.854
so with these specs in my mind it tells me that the valve would open sooner with the red/white because of the weaker applied spring rate....but also I have to compensate for the longer spring so for all I know the weight could be 4.0 lbs

I have gone over and over this in my mind and I dont see where it would be beneficial
what do you think?

My 600 VE opens up at 7k rpm, about average for what they should open at. Just depends on your riding style and elevation.
