Have any of you 2003 Pro X owners had the stitching bust out of the seams on your seat?Mine has a 2" split down one side, but I saw 2 other machines with hevier riders that the whole seat was blown out[V].My dealer is going to take care of it under warranty, assuming they can get the new cover.
I just thought you guys that bought the same machine might want to take a close look at your seams while the warranty is still in effect.

I had my new seat cover installed by the dealer the other day. What a horrible job they did.The front is more than an inch off center.Un friggin believable. Why does this kind of crap always happen to me?!Now I'll have to pull like 100 staples and try to straighten this thing out and hope that the staples hold in the plastic that now has a zillion holes in it.uugh!

Hey steve - my 03 classic's 700 seat's stiching came apart in two places within the first 100 miles. I told my dealer to replace the entire seat! not just the cover. I had just dropped 10k on a new sled I do not want my dealership re covering my old seat-they are not very good at re-upolstry. I would demand a whole new seat.

Tim is right, keep in mind that these guys are mechanics. They don't have a specialist with upolstry. Unless they are going to send the seat to an uplostry guy, they are just going to try to wing it the best they can. Maybe you can request an Auto upolstry shop to do the work?
