I am looking to have some engine work done- on my 1998 Indy XC700. I was wondering if you guys have any thoughts about Indy Specialties. I looked them up on the web and found the original location in Shakopee, MN and another location in Welch, MN. Any ideas? Thank you.

Everything I have heard about them has been positive. But most of what I've heard about them relates to the Fuji engines. Maybe somebody else can speak to their experience with the Liberty engines.

After reading Dan's stuff on Snowest, I would say he knows his stuff. Especially when it comes to the big 800's and the known problems.

Dan closed up his shop in Shakopee and now runs from his residence in Welch, very good with bottom end cases and cylinders.
