I picked up a garmin 60csx and it's a pretty nice gps but not what I really had in mind. I was looking at a garmin nuvi 500 online and am wondering how that one would work if used for riding.
The thing I like better about the nuvi over the csx is the fact that it can be hooked up to a constant power source. I also like that it can viewed in 3D too like in your vehicle. The size is more appealing too. According to Garmin's website nuvi 500 is water/weather proof so that's good also.
I just got the csx yesterday and I'm sure if I messed with it it's a great gps but if the 500 is the way to go I should figure it out while I can still return the other one.

^That's awesome Brian. I'll be returning my csx and ordering a nuvi 500 tomorrow for sure. I like how the site with the maps had screen shots of the units too. Thanks man!
