i have a 1995 xcr 600, runs, motor is in great shape but i wanna lighten it up, make a better ditch banger sled and i'm looking for someone to trade me a 440, i'd need a full trade, i.e. cdi, carbs, exhaust, throttle cable, etc. Thanks!

It would be easier to buy an xcr 440.
Also, the difference between a 95 XCR 600 and a 95 XCR 440 is 476lbs versus 459lbs. Is a 17 pound difference in motors really worth it???

Yeah no problem. The whole "triples weigh more" idea is a huge myth. Yes you could drop a tooth on the top gear for better acceleration, but you will sacrifice top speed. You could also put in a primary spring that has a higher intitial rate for a higher engagement. Studs would help get the power to the ground, but I know some people are like me and refuse to run studs
