there are so many people in these forums that are dedicated snowmobile riders, but how many of you actually snow ski or snow board also? I have been snow skiing for the past 5 years and love it. I own a pair of snowblades, which are really short snow skis that have a curved tip on both ends. This allows you to ski backwards also. They are tons of fun. Let me know what all everyone is into, related to snow, but not snowmobiles. Scott

I used to ski 40-50 times a year at Alyeska a really nice local ski resort.
I Kinda go from one thing to the other.
Started on Cross Country skis as a kid stopped doing that after I started downhill.
Now its kinda expensive to take a family of 4 skiing gonna drop at least $200 Sledding is just cheaper after the sleds are paid for.
And hill climbing is the only thing I've found since downhill skiing that can give you that oh s%$t adrenaline rush.

I've been skiing for 28 years since I was 4. The bears started me early. I'm just tired of it now so I moved to sledding cuz I love winter and motorsports in general.

I cross country ski here. I have done snowboarding a couple times but not alot. We have a TON of Cross Country ski trails here so I figure I might as well use them, right?

I am an avid snow-boarder. I have a Burton XL 5000, awesome board and very light and durable.

I tried snowboarding. I wasn't durable enough. I got a back edge, and tried to catch myself by putting my hands behind me. Don't ever do this. My wrist hurt for days. I couldn't hold weight on my hand for months. I'll stick to skiing
