Are the F series only available with 128" tracks? I don't see anything longer in this series.

Cat did make the Firecat series with a 144 for a couple years, but those 144 kits can get pricey for the firecat chassis, not to mention the track was still 13.5 inches wide, I have seen some people actually cut a 144 track on the edges to fit the firecat tunnel.

*Deep Sigh*

If your talking about the F-series...which also have a 128" track and are commonly mistaken with the 'FIRECAT' Chassis..then yes. Cat just came out with a F8 EXT sled which has a 144" "long-track".

^If that's not the sled your talking about, then your talking about the Firecat chassis(Like the one in my avatar) which is NOT the F-series. You can find Firecats with track extensions on craigslist, ebay, etc. very seldomly.

I'll also recommend the Crossfire chassis. They've been around since the Firecat's were still in production and they are still around today. You can get the older ones in 136" tracks in a 600cc or 700cc.

The newer ones come with a 141" track and are available in a 600cc,800cc,800cc H.O.(high-output), and 1000cc.

I personally think that back in late 2006, Arctic Cat should'nt of named the 'F-series' the 'F-series'. From 2003-2011, the Firecat's and F-series were/are all commonly called "F5,F6,F7,F8,F1000" regardless which chassis it was. It just confuses people(A LOT of people that I know).

I saw a couple posts on other sites about a factory 151 track kit for firecats. One post said you had a choice of 128, 144, 151 options in 2003. Not sure if this actually true or not. I did some research in the firecat part numbers on arcticcat.com and found a couple of factory long track part numbers. But they dont give a desciption about the length of the kit. Here is one pic I found.

I am contemplating on extending mine to a 144, the only problem is that the firecat extension kits are pretty pricey and kind of hard to find, The track would be easy to find because I hear some people will just cut the 144 standard track on the sides in order to fit the firecat tunnel. the 151 looks cool though

The Firecat came in a 128" stock. The Firecat EXT was a 144" stock. There was never a factory released 151 Firecat...it was offered as an aftermarket extension kit which are very hard to find now.

the new F-series (2007 and up) have a 121 if its the base model, the snopro models have a 128 track.
Incorrect. The F-series come with a 128" track length...base model, LXR, or SnoPro.
