Had the opportunity to drive one of these Baby Grand cars on the 1/2 mile oval at Race City Speedway here in Calgary. They are 2/3rd scale Winston Cup Cars, with Yamaha XJR 1300 engines. I think my best lap time was just under 21 seconds. Speeds at the end of the back straight are in excess of 100mph. They are quite a rush! I was vibrating for about 5 minutes after I climbed out.

Well I guess if you like toiletbowl racing it sounds like fun. Just kidding thats what I call it to all my buddies here that are nascar fans. Like most of you know I 1/4 mile drag race and am doin over 200 plus MPH at the end of a 1/4 mile so going around and around doesn't do a thing for me. Its straight hard and fast and need a chut to stop that gets me hot.My next ride I'm trying for is a rear engine rail drag car hopefully able to do 6 second 1/4 mile pass.
