(sucking up the track, adjusted front shocks from one extreme to the other, new skegs, more carbides, alignment ) PLEASE help me out here by the way his machine is a long track. It also takes two acres to turn it around

Well only thing i can say is to reduce the front track spring pressure to allow more weight to rest on the Ski's. and crank up ski spring pressure. Also if you have overstudded the track it will be very difficult to turn.

My g/f has a '92 EXT 550. When we got it the turning radius was terrible but we thought it was the sled. Took it off the mountain and opened her up, turned out to be stoved from underneath. The steering shaft was punched from below putting a 10 degree wow in the shaft. Could only get about 30 degrees of turning like that. The belly pan had a scratch but didn't look serious until we took the motor out and checked the steering shaft under the motor. Trued it up and it turns as good as my '94 XLT now. Good time to replace heim joints if you go in too! Good luck!
