The guy that I bought my son's z120 from used cooking oil for some short summer runs. Man what a mess, it took me about 6 hours to get that junk off. Looks much better though, just need some new slides.

Looks like you did a good job cleaning.

Ya ,but just think how much fun the little one had. before you got it.Hey,good idea a little cooking oil, go for a few blasts,sounds like fun,

Man how did you manage to get it so clean!? Did you take every individual part off and polish it?

Yeah, I broke it all down and clean each piece. I used #0000 steel wool on all the aluminum pieces to make them shine again. I tried to pressure wash some of it and it did not come off.

Nice Baero!

Did you try engine de-greaser before the elbow grease?

I used carb cleaner on some greasy suspension parts last night...worked great,
but I guess it will harm plastics.

Yep, I soaked the pieces down and let them sit. It helped a little.
