Simple question. How can you visually tell if a belt is worn? Is there a width or thickness measurement?" Also, please define "belt deflection" and how is it measured? Anyone know what the measurement should be for my XCR 440?

All help is appreciated.

(nice spelling, eh?")

yes there is a a width that you measure. i have no idea what it is for your sled. for my 01 800 it's 1.438" according to my manual.

this is how deflection is measured from my manual -

measure belt deflection with both clutches at rest and in their full neutral position. place a straight edge on the belt and apply downward pressure while measureing the space between the straight edge and belt and the middle point between the clutches.

for my 01 800 it's 1.25"

that's how you measure deflection. may be a different number for your sled though.
