Definately not a good idea, not only will the motor over-rev, it will slam the clutch plates together and damage the clutch. Just block up the back of the sled solidly so the track can spin freely, and then just spray some water from a garden hose onto the track while its running so it cools the track and the motor. Might be a good idea to have a friend help.
