took about 10 hrs. to complete ,with the opticool gasket, rear heat exchanger,re jett, put pipes in(and there in there tight ) and heel kicker cluthch kit, sounds mean as hell, but i have no snow in mid michigan to ride what a rip....does anyone know where i can run a radar run in michigan . and do these things run during the week or is it a weekend thing....
if the Viper becomes mine next year never know it may get a bit louder. That is a bit of money. I am looking at trucks taht would cost me less tahn that. Hope it all works out for ya.
i got the whole kit for $750 bucks (used) i couldnt turn that down it came all set up clutch, jetting was already fig. out i got it from a yami dealer that tore it off his so he could sell his at stock so he can get a rx-1. and ITS SNOWING HERE they are calling for six to 8 by the end of the day just in time for me to go home from work and see what i have gained. and yes im going to lakes of the north on sat. to run this radar thing my first time so it should be interresting any suggestions or is it a grip it and rip it thing.

[great deal for the pipes and kit. Considering doing the same but waiting to hear field reports. I've heard you may risk the possiblility of bending/breaking the crank on the viper with these perfomance

YAMAHA WELDS THERE CRANKS RIGHT AT THE FACTORY , I CHECKED ON THAT MADE ME NERVES TOO, BUT IF THEY WELD IT I DONT THINK IT SHOULD BE A PROBLEM.
I know the Vmax 4 had problems but that is different and older. I sent him an emial to which he replied today and then I offered him 700. I know it is a bit low but my dad told me to. Figures offer 7 maybe he will take 8. My dad is thinking he can get the F7 for trails and have a piped viper for some racing and me. He likes the low noise of a stock sled especially the Viper.

just read a how to on the whole piping thing. Sounds annoyinglly long. Took you 10 hours huh? Blah... well whatever see what the guy says to the money he was offered first. Was it just you or you have a friend or two help? My dad and I working on it could do it faster if just you did it.
