Well guys, which belt do you prefer to use on your sled? And what is the best bang for the buck... How do I know when my belt is reducing preformance? What are comon signs of its life being done?

Thanks

dayco are okay, they're supposed to last a long time, for racing tho, we use OEM yammi belts, they have alot better grip than the aftermarket ones

as for signs of it's life being done. a bang and repetative thunking sound, and that horrible, cotton fibery belt crap flying out the left side of yer hood.

seriosly tho, take the belt off, and flip part of it inside out, look for cracks in between the teeth and look for fibers starting to come off along the sides of the belt. if any of this is happening, at the least carry a spare with you (which you always should anyways)

I do have a spare, and I dont have any huge problems or noises, I was just wondering if a new belt may give me 5-10 more km/h... My 377 is barly getting to 60mph on perfect conditions...
