Damn that is a sharp sled. I love that windshield on it. But what the hell is all that white stuff all over?

That white stuff made a brief appearance last week but is long gone now.

Intended, Have you been able to put any miles on your sled yet?

If I were you Intended I'd be unbearable to live with and probably be divorced by now. I'm driving my family crazy now with my snowmobiling withdrawals
You should drive a few hundred miles into the UP. Conditions may not be great but at least the trails are rideable. I'm heading to the shores of Lake Gogebic Sunday, it's supposed to be a little warm this weekend but colder by Tuesday with snow.
Hmmm maybe I'll have to stay an extra day or 2

Nice pics.Too bad the snow didn't stay around for you longer.

Nice lookin sled, I love the way the snow is stuck to the suspension rails and the track. Enhances the sharp-ness.

Nice sled. Looks like you got it fixed up pretty good after you had the mishap with a creek bed.

Trees don't make the greatest brakes...
Sweeeeet! Now we need to get some snow so you can ride!

Hey,
We got about 8" of white stuff last night!
We're getting rain tonight and most of the trails are dirt. The youngins were off school today and tore up the trails before I got home from work.
After about 40 miles of running across corn fields (that I spent an entire day marking over 2 months ago) that had all 8" wore down I went to the bean field behind my buddies house to see how the 800 performed with the minor mods I did to it.
I'm not disappointed!
Running across about 8" of snow with it raining I get it up to 100 mph (according to the speedo) in a pretty short distance.
I treated my buddy to a few passes on a quick sled and he got off of it with a rather large smile on his face.
Going from a 2000 Indy 500 Classic to the 800 is like going from a Gremlin to a Hemi Cuda! For the younger group that is unfamiliar with the older cars, it's like an Escort to a Mustang GT.
After riding the 800 Cat then getting on the 500 Polaris it was very unsatisfying, If that was the biggest rush I could get from sledding I might as well move to Florida and get a golf cart... LOL

I'm sorry, I'm just pumped, it's been too long since I've had the adrenaline rushing through my veins.

Nice! Believe me, I can totally understand that feeling. Thats a great looking sled, I really like the fact they were taken at night too....good contrast between the sled and the snow.
