I am putting a black magic 680 with v force reeds and twin black magic pips in a 99 zr 440 snopro. im not sher of what rpms it should run. Im thinking 8700-9200 but dont want to melt it down

Those numbers sound high to me. The 711 big bore only runs 8600 RPM...I wouldn't think the 680 would turn any higher.

thay may be I just want to get the most out of it Im toled I can get 150hp out of it

150hp is also stretch. You should be around 130hp in trail form. More RPM's doesn't mean more power in many cases. You want to clutch for your peak RPM. Going over that will actually lose power.

I agree 150HP is a pretty good stretch. I think my D&D kit is only really good for 135 in trail form If I add a set of twins it may give me 140 on a good day. Like Quinlan said you should clutch for you max RPM.

The 720 with twin pipes should bring a comfortable 140hp...so yes, 130's with a single.

Yes, and you will be able to stay and Play in the park with your friends alot longer at those RPMs
