What do the different XLT types refer to. I know about the Special, and it's extra suspension, but what about the SKS, and others?

Not sure what package the SKS has over a basic XLT. SKS = Snow King Special though.

yeah, sks-snow king special, i believe it is a deep snow machine, longer tunnel/track, there is also a limited, but i havent got any idea what they are about

Oh yeah another thing I've noticed with the SKS is they only mark it on the ass end under the taillight. Haven't seen any hood marking with SKS on them. I think they are the predecessor to the RMK - Rocky Mountain King but that's just my guess.

I believe the main difference is the track length. I have an RXL SKS and the difference I could find between it and the RXL was track length and lug height. My dad's got a XLT limited I think the diference is the xtra12 vs. the xtra10 but I'm not sure. Its got a 600 triple which might also be different but again I'm not sure.

Hey PaulXLT, deeper lugs means the track can't spin as fast though. Your .95 track just might kick mine on the trail. I think I'd have you in the deep stuff though. That's the way I like it!

Nice sled Bman...Gotta love Polaris, and I LOVE THE TRIPLES. I think that i will be Polaris for life. And yes, the SKS is the predecessor to the RMK. The 2002 RMK 800 is my dream sled. But for now, my gorgeous 95 XLT is my baby.

Need some darn snow people.
