Yo yo whats going on fellow snowmobile fanatics. As you have read, I decided to buy myself an early birthday present and upgraded from a 04 Arctic Cat F7 Snopro to a 09 Arctic Cat Crossfire 800. I have been looking for a while. Just found myself looking for the deep powder spots instead of running the trails and lakes. Also this allows me to do some serious sledding in the Beardmore Ontario area, where it doesn't seem to stop snowing. So I'm looking forward to putting this investment to some good use. Originally the sled was black with green accents, but original owner wanted the crossfire midnight look and therefore took off the decals, painted the tunnel and control arms.

Unfortunatley I bought it on a monday and I had to start my week on week off rotation on the tuesday so I only got 1 day to ride it before off to work. And as always, the snow was awful, really really wet and I was all over the place. None the less it was kickass and I cant wait to get home and ride the beauty.

Sorry if the pictures are to big..... not sure how to change them.

Looks good except for the surface rust on the pipe. Not that it's that bad, but for an 09?

AHHH yes the rust is a concern, I will be dealing with that. As for the snow flap, apparently the guy snapped it of at some point. Not sure how or why but it will be replaced at some point.

As for the rust on the surface of the pipe, because my sled is stored outside all year round, is there anyone to prevent the rust.

A good cover will help with preventing the rust.

You will want to replace that flap sooner rather than later so you don't end up overheating the sled.

Nice sled
