Ok, some of you may have been following my threads for new sleds,

Well i ended up getting the 99 VMAX 500sx here are some pics


Halfway home, RedBull and Grizzly break


Getting it unloaded last night


Full wash and wax this afternoon


And here it is in it's new home

@ *******- i paid 650 for it.


Ill get some under the hood pics tonight, one thing that is gonna need replacing is the exhaust manifold (sled equivalent to headers on a car) it has some cancer (rust) on it and it wont be long till it eats through i imagine, for now it is hold and not leaking though ;)

that would be it haha (sorry used to trucks) yes ill probably need to pick up a Y pipe as soon as i find the chance

yep fresh new rebuild, just a couple hours of ride time and it runs just a few minor fixes, so i think it was definitly a fair deal.

Just need new carbides right away, and some
SNOW!!!!!

Cannot go wrong for the price, thats for sure.

Better post up some underhood pics!

My 98 SRX 600 (now a 700) got beat in a short drag race (less than 500 feet) against one of those, but in the end i smoked it on the top. Geared and clutched right those are an awesome and fun sled! Not to mention reliable!

Can you post some underhood pics? chances are your y-pipe is fine, they all tend to look pretty rusty. It can't hurt to replace it though if you want to.
