I allready put this message in a topic, but I was told it would be better to start a new one.
I'm currently bringing a snowmobile across and this is what I was told.
It's not much to bring something across.
$209 Canadian tire inspection and pay your GST at the border. Once the machine is inspected by CTC. you pay the PST at the MOT, usually takes about 10 -15 working days.
Mind you I have only brought back trailers but from what I hear from others it's the same process for vehicles.
Here are some government numbers you can call if you like, I recommend it.
Note: You will probably need from the manufacture a recall letter clearing the machine from any manufacturing recalls.
Canada Border Services agency 1-800-461-999
Transport Canada 1-800-333-0371
Registrar of imported vehicles 1-888-848-8240
and a link

Hope this helps some people.
