ok here's the deal. A couple of months ago i saw a set of twin pipes go through on ebay. Lately i have been looking for some and i cant find them anywhere. Oh and by the way i have a 95' Indy 500

Check any performance company, PSI, Hot Seat Performance. Look through magazines, they are everywhere.

hey pman, i've been looking around for mods for my 97 Indy 500 and am having trouble finding any also. i find plenty for xc 500's but very little for the Indy 500. why is this?

That kind of has me confused, because the Indy 500 motor has been around a lot longer than the XC 500.

But it could be because the XC 500 is considered a "high performance" machine, and the Indy is considered a "trail performance" machine, so all the companies figure they will make performance parts for the high performance sleds instead of the trail sleds.

That's what I think anyway.

Hot seat has performance parts for Indy 500's though, at least clutch kits, I dunno about pipes and stuff though

P-Man is right, the fuji 488cc engine they put in the INDY 500 is not famaous for housing a lot of aftermarket parts, therefor, you wont find many without modifying something.
