[/font=Verdana][blue][/blue][?]Ok I just got a Palaris 340 from a friend ..... It has been sitting for about a year [V]and the carb is stuck [:0]How can I fix this problem I think it's just shalacked over Any help in appreciated!! [:D]

I had the same problem with my three carbs.

Unscrew the lids on the 2 carbs and spray some loosening oil and let it sit. Try to spray around the edge.

I also CAREFULLY inserted a screw driver into the throat of the carb between the slide and the bottom of the carb and pried it up. This will save you from breaking the cables by pulling on them.

Nice poll. LOL.

I had an experience with a previous owner who put the throttle slide into the carb body backwards!! Needless to stay it was stuck in there pretty tight. I took the carb off, took the bottom end apart and pushed through the needle jet with some instrument.....

Go with the penetrating oil, but if you know your way around carbs, check to see if its wedged in backwards. good luck
