I have a 90 Indy 650 and I am in the process of cleaning the carbs.

I opened the base of the carb and tried taking out I believe is the pilot jet (Small sloted brass screw which is at the bottom of an opening)

Well I striped the head off the screw. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Indy triple if the head isn't totally stripped heat it up with a torch then try to get it out. If that doesn't work then it's time to start looking for a carb. Riley

Sometime you can cut another slot with a dremel tool if there's enough material left. Other than that all I can say is that sucks.

take the carb off the bench & put it in the driveway - now run it over a few times while cursing - then find a new carb

If I had a penney for every time I wanted to do that, I'd be a rich man! [:D]
