When you have your sled wide open should you be able to pust the floats up any further, and what do I have to watch out for pulling apart the top of the carbs.

the floats shouldn't move much more once your at full throttle ,,
But openening up and cleaning the carbs is nothing really. Just watch out for your float bowls ,, make sure you don't have any dirt or access varnish in there ,, clean out the main jet's with compress air , make sure all your carb needles are set the same way , and set your main idle 1 1/4 turn ,, and your in business
