Personally, I run Amsoil Series 2000 Sythetic chaincase lube in my sleds.

In the past I've ran Arctic Cat brand chain (transmission) lube, and Klotz chaincase lube as well. For what it's worth, some people run ATF in their chaincases with no problem.

I guess any oil is better than no oil, but I'd try to go synthetic if possible. It doesn't change viscosity much with the temperature changes.

i use a synthetic oil i get from my local parts dealer. But u can use dextron III ATF and it will work just fine.
