How tight is the drive chain supose to be? I have seen them super lose and very tight. my brothers chain just broke on his rxl last night after we put a new track on it. thank you.

I always rotate the secondary foward, then loosen the jam nut, then tighten the bolt finger tight, and then tighten jam nut.

i would check it after you ride a bit.. the wifes wasnt that tight after a few miles. had to fix it on the trail. i rolled the secondry back and forth to make sure there`s not slop in the chian

The manual says finger tight, then back off 1/4 turn. It has always worked for me. (as I knock on the wooden computer desk)

once you get the chain to the desired tension, rotate the secondary clutch a few rotations, no gears are completely center drilled, you will have the tension set and rotate it, and find tight spots in the chain. need to find a happy medium, with the tight spots and loose spots. just from my experience anyway. especially on older sleds.
