Ok so i started the 01 sks 700 up the other day and noticed a chirp-chirp coming from what appeared to be the chaincase. putting it in reverse changed the tone some so i am thinking possible bearing? Anyway, i was wondering how hard is it to remove the chaincase when you have reverse. I have done it several times on a non reverse machine. I just want to know what im getting myself into before i tear into it. i would proble just replace all the drive bearings as long as im in there so then i know all bearings are new and dont have to tear it open again. thanks for any info!!

removing it = simple; just like a normal chaincase.
putting it back together depends on how well you paid attetion while removing it. make sure you keep track of what came off in what order so you can do reverse steps when you reinstall.
