I have to change the jets in a 2001 xcsp 800. This is a non VES version. Does anybody have a step by step or can they give me one? If you have pictures please post them as well?

Thanks,

simple. loosen the clamp holding the carb to the motor. turn carb upside down or atleast to the side. with a 17 mm wrench remove bottom plug. with a 1/4 inch socket remove jet and isntall new one. put plug back on and do the same on the other carb.

Thanks Madcow. I'm going to try tonight. The sled had been jetted from 460 mains stock to 430's which I think it too low for this area. We get lots of cold temperatures here and this sled came from south of Minneapolis. I'd rather have a bit of a bog then a lean burned engine.

Thanks,

on a stock motor if you put the stock 460's back in you wont have a bog.

The only thing other then a team roller secondary and a clutch kit is a boost bottle that I may take off yet. I've read that it can be a source of a leaned out burn down as well more then you gain in performance from it.

Thanks,
