I was wondering how often u guys cleaned u'r carbs. Also last year was my first year with a sled with flat slide carbs and i was wondering what needs to be done when u clean them.
Any help would be appreciated

Only when I need to. With propeer storing, hopefully never. As far as flat slides go, treat them the same. A good contact or carb cleaner and guitar strings if there is any gum.

Personally I never trust storing, I clean mine before the start of every season. Flatside are like round, pretty much the same. I spend most of my time around the pilots and feeder holes and make sure that main is clear!.
Seen too many sleds melt and most of the time it was a dirty main and cold temps.
It would take more than a year to see biuld up in the carbs, ususally the pilots plug faster.In the case I've worked on.
Last season , helped rebuild 3 ,95 trail 488 fan, early 90's mach 583, and a older blizzard.
