How do I shim my primary? I have a 3/16" gap [:0] in my 93 xlt.

You will have to have all of the clutch tools(holder,spider jam nut wrench) to do it. If not take to delaer with the belt.

Make sure you reshim with a NEW belt tho

wow! 3/16 gap is huge. Correct me if I'm wrong guys but the spec should be 0.015 in. !!! (with a new belt)

Yea, so I don't have all the tools so I think I'll take them off and into the shop to have them rebuilt. I was thinking of putting on a more aggressive clutch kit, can this be done without messing with anything else? Or should I just stick to stock?
