Does any body know how to get the jam nut off a primary clutch for a polaris(I believe it is the p-85 clutch) This is the nut that holds rollers and buttons. It threads on to the shaft I think.
Thanks

Most all mail order snow machine companies carry that socket I know for certain that Dennis Kirk sells it and Slp also carries it. The thing is you will want to purchase the primary clutch holding fixture with the socket as there really isn't any better way to hold the clutch stationary when backing off the jam nut and tourqing it back on. The holding fixture bolts to your bench and I also belive it can held in a vise if I remeber right. I personaly don't have the tools but my friend does so I just work on my clutch's at his place. hope this helps.
