My 650 requires a new primary due to cracks.

I have two options at this time:

1) Used Polaris clutch $376.00 cdn incl tax

2) Comet Clutch $450.00 cdn installed incl tax.

First option is not installed, probably cost me $25.00 more to have it installed.

What do you think would be the best option?

I believe he is quoting on the Comet 102C.

I would recomend that you go with the new primary clutch. Going with the new one you will be able to get more miles out of it before it needs to be rebuilt. In a used clutch the bushing have already begun to wear, reducing the miles you will get out of it before it needs rebuilding. Unless the used clutch has already be rebuilt.

Don't pay to have it installed, its purty easy to do, just need a torque wrench or just make sure the bolt is snug. I would look for a used p85 polaris clutch, its pretty easy to rebuild accept for the rollers but if there good just buy a new spring and use your old weights or get new ones.

Hey , try calling 800-955-2925. I got a new primary from them last year for a lot less. Get a new spring and weights at the same time to make sure everything works as expected.

You can do it yourself if you have the clutch puller bolt.
