my dad has a 1992 polaris classic and it is leaking coolant and i believe one of the hoses must have poped off because i highly dought that anything would poke a hole in a line that thick i cannot see underneeth the bulk head ....is there an easyer was than pulling the motor to get to the lines?thanks billy

Hoses sometimes rub on other things, and wear a hole in them....

just like this one did. It wasn't leaking yet, but it was ready to.
Pull the pipe off, and if you can, run your hand along the hoses.
I guess I should have asked if its a slow leak, or if its pouring out like an open drain.
Either way, its time to replace all the hoses.
Oh, the best way to pull all the old coolant out of the motor is with a Shop-Vac.

you just need to get in there and feel all of the hoses for wear spots, look for cracks and you should probably be able to find the leak. it might even help to wipe everything down, start the engine and look for the leak if it is a big enough leak.

yes i would have to agree with sleds-650 if your going to replace one replace them all and save the hassle down the road
