I'm able to ride from my garage to the trail so I never gave it much thought over the winter when I put hooks and a pivot riser on my Edge this year. Once the snow/ice melted from each ride, I just tossed the cover on top.

Now, getting ready to summerize it, there's no way in he!! that the stock polaris cover is going to fit.

Would a cover from a ProX or mountain type sled fit better with the hooks and riser? Should I loosen the riser and rotate the bars down? What do you guys do?

Thanks,
Jonesy.

hey another sheboygan rider. i just installed 8 inch bars on my sled. no way is my stock cover going to fit. it was tight before with just the 2 inch riser. i plan on just laying the cover over it and using some rope to keep in it place.

I have a cheap fleet farm cover that fits my sled with 8" risers, hooks, and hanguards. My wife has a polaris cover that barely fits her sled with a 3" riser.
