there is no crankcase oil on that sled. those draining plugs are for emptying the engine for fluid. if you sink the sled or its really flooded they are awesome ;)

You do not change the oil in a 2-stroke engine like you do in a 4-stroke. As posted, the plugs are there to emtpy the crankcase in the event it accidentally becomes filled with gas, water or some other fluid.

HD1 is trying to refer to the chaincase. there is a plug at the bottom of the chaincase, underneath the sled. The plug never wants to turn, so i don't turn it. I just take the chaincase cover off and let it drain in the belly pan, it finds its way out of the belly pan into a dip pran I put underneath, and i use a shop rag to wipe up what's left.

You'll need a hexhead wrench, can't remember what size, to remove the chaincase drain plug.
