I know its a crazy question, but

How can a guy shine up the outside of his original Cylinders without a load of hassle, or buying new.
If a guy were to seal up the cylinder, could he sandblast the outside?
or is there another method?

The Crankcase came pretty clean by rubbing off the old gas/oil mix that had accumulated over the last 30 yrs., but the cylinders are more of an oxidation problem.

Any ideas?

they make an aluminum acid that you can buy(liquid) and you dilute it with water --just read the labels -some eat rubber and plastic but some dont( its used for cleaning semi truck rims and fuel tanks)[thumb] but oxidation ????[?]
