Im thinking im going to cut my windsheild..just to make it a little less tall. has anyone ever done this and how did you do it?

i took a piece of painters tape and put it across the windshield at the hight you want it i used my dremel and then sanded off the rough edges then put trim back on.heres a pic of one that i did.

^I'm with him.

Mask off where you want it cut, that way you have a nice line to follow. Put a cutting bit in the dremel, and follow the line. When done cutting, replace the cutting bit with a sanding one, and smooth down the edges. When done, replace windshield trim.

If you don't have a dremel, you can always use a tin snip or similar shearing tool. They work as well, just slower.

black felt tip marker, mark your line, use a pair of sharp scicors and u should be good to go, no need for a dremel if u dont have one.
