Ive heard a dremmel works good, I dont own one so I would use an exacto knife-make a tapeline and make several passes with the knife, going a little deeper each pass oop srx600 beat me to it lol

I use tin snips. Works great!

This one only got a minor trim.

This one was pretty extreme.

I could go on and on, but what's the point???

If you searched, you would find over 70 topics under "cutting windshield".

But it's nice that people reply.

I used a tin snips, I would say the most important thing is to not ruin that black liner on the outside, that hides all your flaws.
i used a exacto knife to get about half way through the plastics then used a tin snips to start a cut all the way through andw would bend and pull and it would just bend and then rip off but you, but make sure you do keep the black trim to hide the imperfections.

exactly, doing a search is not a big deal. it takes 20 seconds. and usually you can find so many topics that have already covered your question. especially in this case. i don't know how many times it has been covered.

use your head.
