Ya thisone day i was out ridin with my just boughten 94 xlt sp and my newhelmet i had just got, and i decided to go off the trail, wans't goin that fast, only bout 50, and all of a suddebn i hit this ditch in the midle of the field, went off it, slammed my head agaisn't the handle bars, thought i had broke my helmet, but i was lucky and never did. the ditch was about about 3 1/2 to 4 feet drop off. taught me a lesson to always watch for ditches., cause just 2 weeks later my friend hit the same ditch and hurt his knee bad. but nowi always watch for ditches.

Gee, that God that the helmet and sled was ok. Remember, always sacrifice yourself over the sled or equipment. Your body will fix itself, but the sled or gear could get expensive!! He he. Good to hear that you are ok. Scott

Those ditches are not good fun to hit higher than 30. The ones you hit around 10-15 mph are hot s#!t

The ones I dislike are the drain/irrigation ditches in the middle of fields. You see the open field, throttle up and half way across you hit friggin hard. No warning they cover over with snow drifts.

Duct tape much like the force... it has a light side, a dark side.... and it holds the world together!

Yea, I once went off a 12 foot drop off at 35 mph on my INDY Lite 340. That broke the trailing arms and the suspension blew. Oh well... LOL, that wont happen with my XLT Special! I know its there now... I think
