just wondering since the stock cages on my 97 700 liberty have orings formed into the cages and the v force cages dont do they need a gasket between the cage and the block?

I believe they should come with a gasket from the company, so yes, they need gaskets. I've been told that the factory V-Force gaskets aren't very good though...

ok is that a vforce item only of can you get the gaskets elsewhere? thx

mine have gaskets They are only a dollar a piece at the polaris dealership
if you need some

I used yamabond on mine. It was one of those deals, like a saturday night when the dealership was closed, and I wanted it running. Seems to be working fine.
