I just replaced my drive belt on my Polaris Indy, my question is....the belt seems to have the required deflection but when I have the track jacked up.....at idle it engages the track...is this suppose to happen?

I'm new to sleds so cut me some slack [;)] Does the belt just need broken in??

Also....the belt doesn't sit flush with the Secondary clutch sheaves...it sits slightly higher on the pulley??

All indications/charts show this Dayco Belt is the OEM replacement part.

Any info would be great.

Yeah sounds ok to me, if the track turns when it's let down on the snow then you have a problem. You will need to adjust the cam adjuster on your secondary if that is the case.
