The start of the X games qualifier

A very shakey picture of one of the new SWEET ski-doo sleds!

At the finish line of the X-games qualifier

same thing, further away

Talking with the winner!

Another good pic of this years polaris

closer up of the new polaris

Arctic Sno-pro!!!

And more......

closup of the hood of sno-pro

back of sno-pro!

Overall day one was cool....I didn't get there till later after work, so I missed some during the day. I also took a ton of pictures but my camera wasn't set up right so alot didn't turn out. I will try to get it set up better for Sunday (won't be able to go tomorrow). I was extremely dissapointed in the standings of the new Cats. The riders seemed to have some trouble adjusting to the new design.....those that did ride the sled well, however, flew! The new ski-doo sleds are hands down the coolest things out there period....these things are going to dominate, no question! Now I know why blair left! GRRRR!
The polaris seemed to look the same as last years, with minor cosmetic changes....although they seemed to hang right with the new Doo's.....Anyhow, I will be there all day sunday, so I will get a lot more pictures (that don't suck!).

You want the one in the pic? It broke!!! hehe they had to haul it away with a forklift thingy! That's the reason why I got so close to it! That was the sled from the Pro-Open division, so we are talking a ton of $$$$ into that one!

Intended you are the best for getting pics. Thanx!! Artic-cat-guy in my ski-doo open message, I posted the two pics of the sled. Not great, but you can see it a little. Blair's # is still 7c. Go to blairmorganracing.com they show him with the 440 stock sled. Also pics of his "little" trailer! It will be very interesting to see how Blair and Tucker do against each other. You know they both have a lot of practice on their sleds this year. Keep us posted Intended.
P.S. Intended I want to get up to the North Shore this year, maybe we can go for a ride when you get snow

Very sweet.

I'm surprised with Polaris changing their race sled color to blue, I know it looks good, but since 1997 their race sleds have been red. oh well. Go Polaris!

www.snowmobilenews.com has a quick overview of the results from the pro heats today. Sounds like Noel Kohanski was the best driver of the day (on a Polaris)!! Morgan had mechanical problems on the Doos (NO!!!!). Tucker also did not do to great. The finals sound like they would be very fun to watch!! Intended I am very jealous that you get to go watch them!!!!!!!!

Skippy, I really want to race my new Viper this season, but I'm not sure when.
I'm going to Eagle River for Derby Week and they're opening the snocross track for the public to ride on before all the main events. I should get some good practice!! This will be my first year racing!!!!

wow, skidoo and AC have really changed. They keep looking more and more like dirtbikes: lots of travel, rider is in center of sled rather then the back, the chassis looks longer, the skidoo's seat looks like a dirtbike, it's high and narrow. Lot's of cool things. I wonder if they have the engine laid down too, looks sweet! Good pics.
