About 120-140 psi. Some say 120psi is as low as you should go, others 110psi.

How many miles are on it? With stock heads I would expect to see 125+psi and with aftermarket head I would see around 145+ psi.

Well last year i tested my compression and it was at 130.This year i got a lend of a different tester and it said 115.After seeing 115 i was sick to my stomic.So i got a lend of another tester and its says 140.lol.Now im scratching my head.But the one good thing is all 3 cyls are the same to every tester.

polaris manual says 140 for a 2001 800xcr i'd imagine it's very similar for a 99.

Mine says 130 and I just installed new, fresh pistons & rings. Once broke-in, I expect a little higher - we'll see. WL
