Looking for some tech help please: 06 Polaris Fusion 600, went for a quick ride about 1.5 hrs, likely went 30 miles. Used a whole litre of oil. Fuel gauge went down one bar from full, sorry I’m not sure how much fuel I used.
History: I bought this sled well used and abused. Has 2100 miles on the clock. The steering knuckle that’s buried under the motor was super loose, impossible to ride it like that, so I pulled the motor out, fixed that problem. Got it running, and put about 20 litres of fuel thro it, and the motor seized. Turns out I didn’t prime the oil pump when I installed the motor and it was getting no oil. None at all. Still can’t
believe how it ran that long with no oil, so it must have had some oil in the gas that the previous owner put in there. Fixed the motor, super pricey mistake there, I don’t recommend that one! Primed the pump and away we go.
I thought it was using a lot of oil so I ran a test, filled it with gas and oil, and when I got back the oil tank is down a whole L after the ride mentioned above.

Any ideas?

Based on the information you provided, it seems like your Polaris Fusion 600 may have an oil consumption issue. It is not normal to use a whole liter of oil after a 30-mile ride, especially if the fuel gauge only went down one bar.

Since you previously experienced a major problem with the oil pump, it is possible that there could still be residual damage to the engine causing excessive oil consumption. It could also be due to worn piston rings or valve seals, which would allow oil to leak into the combustion chamber and burn off with the fuel.

You may want to check the spark plugs to see if they are fouled with oil, and also inspect the exhaust for excessive smoke. A compression test could also give you an idea of the engine's overall condition. If you are not comfortable diagnosing and fixing the issue yourself, it may be best to take it to a qualified mechanic for further inspection.
