I just tried out my girlfriends 96 rxl today after putting in a new challenger 1 inch track(works great in powder)and rebuilding the rear suspension including having white lake polaris rebuild both fox shocks. The problem i thought at first was that it was too stiff, but as i rode it more, i noticed it had plenty of "sit in" and over big enough bumps,it would bottom out.The springs are both set as soft as they will go,both shock and torsion and i weigh about 200 lbs.The frss is set on the middle position.Im thinking the rear shock doesnt have enough rebound control. It comes back up fine when you get off it,but if you push it down,it comes back up a little too fast for my tastes( and this is a fresh rebuild).I just dont want to hand her a sled thats gonna throw her over the handlebars, shes a lot lighter than me. Any help would be nice....

It might not bottom out if you put a lighter rider on.
