I have a 92 mach 1 617cc. it's running to rich at idle. we've change the primer, needle and seats, floats are at the proper hieght, fuels pumps are ok, oil is properly set, airbox is clean, raves are good. If you jump on the sled and punch it, it's bogged right down, slowly accelerate and the motor will clean itself out and haul some real ass. As long as you don't stop, the throttle response is great. stop and punch it and it'll barely pull itself. we're yamaha guys so we don't know these bombis to well. If anyone can help, please do. we are stumped!

Its definately getting too much fuel at idle, but it sounds like you've either checked or changed all the usual suspects. I don't have any other sugestions, except for making sure the carbs are totally synced. Throttle cables first, then idle screws. Make sure your air screw is set to spec. If it is, try backing it out a little to lean it out. Just be sure to keep your eye on the plug color after any changes you do.
