i picked up 2 free elans last weekend. 1 is a 77 250t, twin cyl with single carb. the other is a single cyl with electric start 250cc

WOw, nice find for free, getting harder to find. Look to be in pretty good condition. Those older sleds are so neat.

I picked up a 1973 elan last winter and you're right, they are lots of fun. I was really surprised at what that little sled could go through.
yeah, im actually surprised they dont make em anymore. considering how much fun they are and how they'll go anywhere. they made the elan from '71-'96. and it stayed pretty much exactly the same except for decals and a halogen light. they must have done something right.

get both of them running and sell one so i can put a crank in my 700 then just play on the other one. i dont even know if i will register it or not. maybe i will get a sleigh and go cut some wood out at my parents with it. i wish they had reverse though

got the nicer one running and took it around the yard. got some issues yet, but she runs and goes like a turd of herdals
