I got around to making the video.

Here is the Link
RAMP VIDEO
Quality Is ok because I had to compress it because it was 160 mb file.

Let me know what you think of it.

Other post

Well I was able to hit my ramp today for the first time. We had it set up pretty small 35 feet to the sweet spot but was still a fun time. I hit it about 10 times before my sled started to get to hot. The ramp is so consistant you know what to expect everytime. It doesnt pop squirly like snowjumps can somtimes.
Here are the pics.

No Crashes luckily..the first time i went to hit the ramp I came in with a little to much speed and almost overshot it but it was all good.
I will make a short video once I get adobe premier pro re downloaded.
Later Dave J.

Original post:
"The freestyle ramp is now finished. Hopefully on Saturday we will be able to hit it if the small amount of snow we have stays.
(The first one is photoshopped to make it a little easier to see.)"

me too! the biggest jump we have is up a hill in our haymeadow. you land in a corn field. its pretty tame though, i've hit it at 50 and didn't think much of it. leaf springs suck to come down on though.[:D]

If so, it looks like you will overshoot your landing.

Ramp looks about right though.
Do you have experience jumping from something that size?
1. To the sweet spot on the landing it is about 40-45 feet. Not to close for the first time hitting the ramp.
(pic from before ramp was finished to show distance)

2.I have never jumped from a ramp but I have hit snow jumps around that size or a little smaller. All of my friends and I are quite comfortable in the air with our sleds. We wouldnt hit it unless we felt we were ready.

I will hopefully be hitting it tommorow if the little bit of snow we have doesnt melt from the drizzle we are getting today.

Thanks, I didn't wanna say it lol.
That's hard to say at first.
Especially for the younger croud.
Props to the 2 of you for being honest.
You may just live longer that way as well.
I'm 25, i've had my share of incidents, i'd rather keep my body out of a cast and parts on my sled and enjoy riding within my known limits. That ramp is outside my known limits.

I don't think I would either. I'm more of a distance jumper, once you get up there, you start breakin stuff.

Whats neat about the ramp is that you can take off the top section and just use it as a distance jump. (if you look at the ramp and look to where the posts are double thick that is where it breaks apart.)

i always hate going off of a ramp for the first time because you have to get your throttle right to clear it or you go over the ramp and bottom out. But once you clear it you want to do it all day.

But nice ramp
