Everyone has full rights to all folders. Tomorrow I will upload from work all my mp3's into the music folder and all of my movies into movies....etc etc. Try to upload whatever you want into the upload folder. By the way, for all you mac haters out there, this site is host by OS X. A website should be up in a few days.
or is it just that the comp/routing isn't working properly.
A big pet peeve of mine is when people block normal TCP/IP traffic that is useful for diagnosing stuff. How are people supposed to figure out where the problem is, if people purposely make things like that difficult.
The only dropping I do on my router is anything that is port 135-140.
(this is not directed towards you... just a general vent ;-) And the way so called software firewalls call ICMP traffic "attacks" which they are NOT. It's not an attack to probe for port 80, or any port. It's like looking from the street, to see if the house has a door. Whether that door is open or not, is a whole diferent issue.)

Admitedly this is not my area of expertise. I have never set up a router before and am trying to get everything up and going. I have a Linksys BEFSR41 router. Do you have any experience with this router? Any help is much appriciated!
